Help keeping cool

Running 12 gallon JBJ with the upgraded lighting (2 power compacts) with a Maxi 1200. Tank is at 82 degrees. Someone recommended reversing one fan, which I just did. I am awaiting the results. Anyone know any other way ?
Should a buy different fans ? The ones in it now seem kind of flimsy, but I dont know too much about fans.

have a fan blow across the top of the water will do the trick... walmart specials. nothing fancy. it will increase your evap rate but the other alternative is boiled fish......
