Help Leather Not Opening

Might not be phrasing this properly. Large leather pollyps not staying open and reciding turning kind of tan in center. This is in a SPS tank all water Per; on the money . Any ideas !!!!

There is a chance that you could be starving it. They absorb most of their food from available nutrients in the water column. Most likely that coloration is already necrosis starting. There is also a chance that it could just be shedding and that's a fair amount of mucous coating buildup that you are seeing. We would need a picture to tell.

Cannot supply pictures . I feed Rotifers, Cyclops eeze, home made blended up seafood. Do you keep nutrient levels highr in a softie tank ??
