Help me catch this killer crab...

scylam, first off beautiful tank man!:thumbsup: second, your sun polyps are awesome. I just picked one up for my tank this past Sat. Must say target feeding is a B!tc#.
I do have a coupl questions for you if you have the time. Did you ever target feed yours? Like when you first introduced them to the tank. And have any luck with the crab yet?

Oh yeah! two more things. Do you leave all your pumps/skimmer running when you dose?

What else do you feed your tank and how often (like your fish)?

tks for visiting my tank, i keep the skimmer & pumps running all the time, i know some food i dump in the tank will be picked up by the equipment, but i don't care. as i replied to "REEFD", i feed my coral with 2 kinds of KENT on the alternative day. fishes i feed them everyday at fixed time by an auto-feeder. don't overfeed yr fishes or the PO4 level will go up and brown algae will bloom.
No, i don't feed the sunpolyps individually. the crab still on the lose! damn, but the shark baby has grown to almost 4 inches long, exciting....

The silver lining was to the dark cloud of having to move my tank. During the breakdown I was able to get the bastard so I could return him to the LFS to give to some other poor unsuspecting soul.

Beeeautiful, ok run the feeding scheldule again. 2 drop in the morning or evening when lights are going off? Then in the same day or the next day you feed 5 drops of the other?

I had a similar experience with a sally lightfoot. It eat 4 of the five legs off my wife's favorite starfish. I kept an eye on him, and one evening he was on one of the top rocks in my tank. I reached in and he hid under the bottom side of the rock, but stayed attached. I picked the rock up, crab and all, set it in a bucket, and the next day he went to the LFS. This is the second time I've had sally lightfoots do this. They'll cling to the bottom side of the rock, or get in a hole, which then makes it easy to get them out. I got rid of all crabs after that, except small hermits.
