Help me decide between these skimmers, please :-)

I don't have first hand experience with the extreme 200, but I can tell you that the Octopus DNW 200 is a beast. I run it on my 300 and it really performs. The tank is a mixed reef with 16 fish in it right now. There are 4 medium tangs a medium trigger and variuos other small to medium fish. This skimmer can be in or out of sump and it is a recirc. I believe it has a 9"x21" foot print

Here are some pictures of my system....you decide!

I purchase the ASM G# modified with recirc from person online for $200.00 seems to be very worth the money. I didn't have the mesh mod though.....

Beware of people that are "forcefull" with their opinions!

Strayvoltage & svb57---Thanks for all of the pics!

sbv57--Your tank really is beautiful. No doubt about that. I think the poster you were referring to was not saying the ASM is a bad skimmer--because it's well known to be quite good, and was still on my list as recently as last week--but that there have been skimmer design improvements worth considering. My super Skimmer actually rocks, but it's too small and I know there are more productive skimmers out there. I also know the ASM is good--I just want to get the best I can for my budget.:D

32flavors hit the nail on the head as to what I was trying to get at in my original post.
svb57 I want to apologize for coming off as sounding abrasive or forceful. I just re-read my post and realized I could have worded it better.
