So i have to send it to them? Seems like a little too much work tbh, i was hoping you could go into petco ro w/e and get it taken care of.

just call them up, marineland is so easy to deal with. bet they send you a replacement. can't say that about to many companies. sure , you might buy another heater that's cheaper, or better. they all suck. at least marineland stands behind there product.
