I've got two tanks going now. All my corals and live stock are in a 40 breeder under 192 watts of mixed actinic and daylight PC lighting (Orbit unit by Current USA). The other tank is an Oceanic "cube" (24wx18dx20h) with live rock and sand under 150 watts of MH (14K bulb). I had planned to move the anemones and clownfish out of the 40 into the cube, mainly to separate the anemones from my corals. But I just had the thought to leave the anemones and clowns in the 40 and move over the corals (mostly soft, octocorals, but some montipora, pocillapora and caulastrea).
I'm torn. The cube would make such a cool anemone and clown tank, but the I can see that the MH lighting might be better for the corals.
What are your opinions?
TIA,
Ben
