HELP me fight ICH

hey guys,

I need your HELP! I have a 120 gallon tank with fish and live rock only. My fishes came down with ICH. bad case. My powder blue tang is covered with it and my other fishes has it too. i got some ICH-X from a store. Has anybody used it before. I have some mushrooms and duncan coral. I was planning to take it out and treat the whole tank. What should i do. NEED ADIVSE!!!!!!!!!!

Do not use ich-x. There are conflicting reports on this stuff but I have the thought:

"stay away from all potions"

You are better off to drop the salinity and QT the fish for 8 to 12 weeks. (No less than 8)
If you have nothing but rock and fish you can do this in the DT. If you have anything else in the tank you need to put the fish in a different tank or remove the corals/inverts.

just my experience my tank was infested with ich some fishes were immune but others were covered in ich. I tried the kordon ich attack and now it's all cleared up. i am not sure if it's the ich attack but before the ich attack i could swear that a few of them were not going to make it through the week.

I've found my powder blue gets it if my ph spikes(within hours and looses it almost as quick when I rectify the problem)
Is the fish acting unusually ?
Maybe something is causing the fish to stress and leaving them vulnerable to ich.
I found feeding more and something to give the fish a slime coat.

Does Kordon Ich Attach really work? It doesn't kill the corals/inverts in your main tank? Hard to believe.....

like i said it worked for me so i think it does. I know the proven route is hypo or copper but i couldn't afford to scoop out all the fish. So far it's worked and i haven't seen signs of it being back. I will let you know if it's truely worked when i put the potter from the QT tank that's been in copper for 2 weeks in and see if he contracts ick.

Great, let us know. BTW, do you have SPS on your tank and it didn't harm them?
