Hi guys ... i have a huge colt in my 90 which stands about 16" and a foot wide. When it is open it stands perfectly straight leaving a lonely empy area of rock about 8" next to its stalk. Is there any other softy that will be happy sharing space with the colt so it can be placed on that rock. The colt wont touch it while open, but will droop right over it at night.

Thanks!

What's a 'colt' coral? I'm guessing a Cladiella species given the dimensions you gave. Briareum would likely do fine, not that I'd recommend introducing it. Other Cladiella species might tolerate it. There's plenty of coral I'd think unlikely to tolerate it, only way you can know for sure is by experimenting. If it were me I'd go the hack on mates' tanks taking as many frags as possible, mount these on small rocks, give them time to attach, then plonk them underneath the colt coral.

Colts don't like to touch other species and actually they have a nice sting and can kill other leather species.
