Hello all:

I am upgrading (from my 55 rr tank) to a 140 gal or 150 gal rr tank. I have been looking for one for quite a while with no success. If anyone can offer any suggestions or advice on where to find my "dream tank" I would greatly appreciate it.

Sounds like its time to buy a new 10 dollar keyboard with a CAPSLOCK key !@
Plus, no matter what time you post, 1AM, 10AM, 6PM, or 10PM, you have caps on. I doubt you are at work 24 hours a day.

I have a 265 for sale.

thats a sweat size.
they had one at nolans a while back.
i think it was seven by two foot by 30 inches high.

of course the 2500 price tag was just a little out of the price range

i think we should all talk schmidt to rob until he stays in the hobby. i understand about the jetskis and all but even the wifie wants it to stay. i'll start. rob, i always thought of you as a competitive person. are you really gonna leave the hobby with Tony in first place ?

maybe i have the name wrong. there was a guy that got burnt out either just before you did the last time or shortly after. he took his stuff into finz. i hear his tank was covered in acros and was the premier tank in tampa bay.

$2500? it only lists for $1581 . I would say that place is a rip off unless it was stand and canopy also.

yeah that was with the stand and canopy drilled of course. the cabinet was cherry . it was a beauty....

gotcha mark. if I didn't lose interest mine would be finished and look alot better. of course I would want that price also. of course when you lose interest you get really lazy. I am that guy right now.
matt that would be tony huff you are talking about. we are friends and hang out alot and ride motorcycles. we were friends before the tank stuff. he had a very nice tank. it was exactly like my old one except some of his corals were on steroids. they grew twice as fast as mine then I had some that grew faster than his. it wasn't a competition between us but something 3 friends had in common. shaun was the 3rd. 2 180's and a 210 between the 3 of us. it was excitement about the animals that made us do it not competition.that was before the hobby turned into what it is today. it's fine just not the way it used to be. some would have you believe that it hasn't changed but it has. greed has taken a stronghold on the hobby. the 3 of us would frag anything we hd for each other at anytime. saving alot of money. then again most corals then cost a fraction of what they are now. ricordea for the weight of the rock. $3-5 a lb. 6-8 inch nice acros for $50-60 max. it was very rare to have a $100 coral. they were there just not the norm. $60 got an albrohensis that was baby blue polyped with blue growth tips. not the marginal green polyp frags around now. it was about 8 inches tall and 6 -8 inches wide. and beautiful. a 1 inch piece of that coral is now $50 or more. like I said I will keep it until it sells . maybe it won't sell. but I will keep trying.
