Help me find the Ranco controller

I can't find where to buy one, or get the specific info I need:

* Can it control another device (fan) if certain conditions are met?

* Do I need the "2-stage" version?

* Should it not be the "low-temp" model?

Has anyone had bad experiences with one? Can anyone recommend very reliable heaters to run with one?

I purchased a pre-wired one stage controller from etc supply. Here is a link to a pre-wired 2 stage.

You can buy them unwired if you are handy (I am not), and be sure to ask to have the probe be waterproofed. My understanding is that the 2-stage will control a heater and a cooling device, although I only use a one stage personally. So far I love mine, I run a Jaeger heater on it to replace my Stealth. It was literally plug it in, set the temp, and forget. Best!

I have had mine running for 6 years no problems at all. you will need the 2 stage unit if you want to control heat and cooling.

and yes ask to have the temp probe water proofed or ask if they still have the titanium probe upgrade.

they sell a shrink tube that goes around the temp probe. I would spend the extra money and get one with the titanium probe. marine depot sells them

Do you mean that MD sells a titanium probe that can be attached to the Ranco?
