as dumb as i was, 3 or so months ago i bought a bleached anenome, its tentacles were completely white. Im pretty certain it had a pink foot. now, its brown and i have a few questions. Is this thing going to stay brown or is it in the process of recovering its things that help it make food by absorbing light, which will later result in the anenome changing colors?

ill rephrase the question if you want me to, but its 1230 and i feel reall lazy =(

also! help me identify this anenome, and yeah this is the one i was talking about.

Macrodactyla doreensis, or the Corkscrew Tenticled LTA, I have one similiar to yours, approximately 9" across. The coloration of mine is best described as a dusky brown/rose, with more brown than red.

Without a picture of the underside of the oral disc, identifying it as an M Doreensis is only a wild guess. I have an H Crispa that looks a lot like that and it took several clear picture of the verucae to positively identify her.
Do you have clear pictures of the underneath of the oral disc and the column?
