help me identify these corals please.

can you guys help me identify what all I have growing? I'm still working on finding the best settings for pics w/ my camera.

I know these are button polyps however I don't know what the green stem is that is growing next to them. On another rock there are 4 or 5 more green stems growing as well.

I believe these are star polyps correct?

I was told that this was just a form of leather coral

and these last two pics that I am curious about are these white spots that are on my front and side glass. They are also all over my corner overflow. It's kinda hard to see. Any help would be great!

Lol---the last could be, if hard, the start of spiorbids. If soft, could be copepods. The first is green button polyps (glow under actinic light) and then there's a leather (could be Kenya tree) and star polyp...there's a fairly persistent green macro algae: ask in the algae forum about that one and consider isolating that rock if it's one of the spready sort....

What are spiorbids and is that good or bad? You're saying that in the first pic that green stem is also a button polyp? there are currently 5 polyps in that spot and none of them started out like that. What are you referring to as a "fairly persistent green macro algae"? Are you noticing something in all of my pics?

Ok, I've seen someone mention "Neo's" before. I'm guessing this is the same thing and that they are indeed desirable. What do they grow to look like? As for the white pots I just scraped one off and it felt not rock hard but is was fairly firm feeling.

the neo's will most likely not live long in your tank so enjoy them while they last.

as for the white spots sounds like spirorbid's but without closer clearer pic. it is hard to say.
