Hi everyone, I need to know if someone can identify this things please, they came with a zoohantids colony I bought 2 weeks ago, seems to be like a mix between zoas and slugs, they are really shiny with the moonlights, and seems to prefer the night to go out and visit the world, they come back to they zoohantids home when I turn on the full lights, its kind of weird stuff to see this slugs with fluorescent flowers on their backs, I will really appreciate if some one could tell me what is their specific name, thanks in advance!!

zoanthid eating nudibraches - some kind Aeolid nudibraches. I would take out all the zoas and dip them in something to kill them and also check for eggs. They are beautiful but will massacre your zoas and since they are specialty feeders they will starve without zoas to eat. Looks like they are currently eating green zoas.

Thank you so much for the info, I will start with a freshwater dip right now as a first intent to kill this things, thank you so much again!

yea, i did a 5 minutes freshwater dip to the colony and i remove two dead slugs after and one more alive this morning, i will keep looking for new slugs to remove them, i hope the zoas open fully when there is no more slugs, but i read that they usually leave eggs that dont die with the dip so its no gonna be easy!
