Help me keep my rbta

purchased a large rbta Friday and since I've acclimated him (drip method over an hour) he's been moving around to find a spot he likes it came home yesterday to find him stuck in my p.h. I turned it off before it seemed it could do any damage and let him back out he attached to rock in a crevice right now but he look a little weak and I also woke up to see my bta detached itself from my rock I checked my parameters and thy read ph 8.2 calcium 420 alkalinity 8 ammonia 0 phosphate 0 nitrates 0 nitrite 0 sal 1.025 my tank has been up for over a year and half and my lights are current orbit led (which my lfs store said would do them just fine) what other elements do I need to monitor for my anemone? should I invest in more lighting? I've seen them looking fine under their leds will someone please help me on what I might be doing wrong

IMO and IME the Current Orbit LED's are not adiquate for anemones of any kind.

As far as the moving around goes, it's the nature of BTA's. What do you have for flow in the tank? and what size tank is it?

A happy nem puts its foot down and enjoys life. An unhappy nem will become a wanderer, ending up like yours did in a PH.
If your tank is over a year old and parameters are stable, then placement would seem to be the root issue. But after a trauma like yours has been through, it would be best to leave it alone for a few days.
You don't say how big your tank is or which light model you have.
That info can help us offer advice.

my lights are current orbit led (which my lfs store said would do them just fine)

I commented on them in my post. These lights are not good for any kind of anemones. They're marginal for soft corals and that is on a shallow tank.

I have two p.h. with one rated at 1200 gph and one at 1150 gph it's a 75 gallon set up

I was really trying to get to the model number to research it. :reading:
Not knowing the tank size, the model of the light is important.
I certainly agree none of them would work over any but the smallest of tanks.

I kept two bubbletips in my 90 gallon for over 2 years with just the marine orbit led (not the pro version the basic version) however this light is not strong and even though it can be done it is not recommended to keep anemones with this light. i would invest in better lighting for an anemone i upgraded to 3 OR T247 lights and love them. i run them on 25% power and damn near bleach everything out.

I too have the OR T247 and absolutely love it. It replaced one of the Chinese black box LED's
