Help me pick a pump

So I have 2 TLF phosban reactors (150s) that I run in series. The first with GFO and the second with carbon. They sit in my sump.

I have used a few hydor SELTZ L20 Pump 185 gph and they are not bad at all. They do need cleaning pretty often.

I was wondering what other people are using in similar situations. What would be the BEST pump for this if cost was not a big consideration?

I need to get a new one and wanted to get a slightly better one if possible?

I have my reactors plumbed from my return line with gate valves for flow control. That way I dont need a dedicated pump for reactor= less enegy consumption and i have to throttle my return pump anyway so this just helps that as well. Also one less pump to clean.

I used to use a maxijet, cant remember exactly which one(600?). I currently feed my reactor from my main return pump as Fish Keeper82 described above.

Maxijet or Cobalt 600 will do the trick. You will still need a value to control the flow.

get the cobalt version of the MJ the marineland ones rattle a lot if you need to cut back the flow with a valve. I would go with a 900 or 1200 and throttle it back, that way if you need more power its there.

I had pump remorse when I used a 600, now I use it to pump water during water changes.

Just used Jebao DC1200s on our reactors. Silent and adjustable.

I am currently using a Jebao DCT4000 to run my GFO and Biopellet reactors. I have it turned all the way down and still use valves to slow the flow even further. I could easily get another couple of reactors and have flow to spare.

Also, as nuxx said, it is a DC pump, so low electricity, no noise, almost NO heat transfer to the water. I couldn't ask for more.
