help me pick a skimmer (Hang ON)

well mom calle me earlier and said there was nothing in the collection cup yet, but that there was foam forming,
Im guessing the reason it didnt work my 29 gallon is casue of the fact that I added some stress zymne awhile back ,
ill start doing water changes

after taking this skimmer to my parents house and running it next to my coral life super skimmer I sold the eshoppes
maybe i didnt give it enought time but a week running and no foam, vs a week with the coral life and a half a cup crude,
its a shame I liked the way the skimmer looked

Honestly, I don't think you waited long enough. Skimmers do take time to settle in and get going. Most all take a good amount of adjusting before it gets to be really good as well.
My ER RS 80 (which pulls out about 12oz per day of coffee colored awfulness from my 30 w/ 3 small fish) took over a week.
I think the skimmer was having trouble because of the stress zyme. That always messed me up.
