Help me pick my next fish!

Hey everyone! I want to add another fish and would like to add either a wrasse, blenny, jawfish, goby or (?) in that order.

I currently have a 2.5" dogface puffer, 5" Picasso trigger and 4" maroon clown.

I'd like something with nice colors but if it has personality and is fun to watch like a lawnmower blenny then color doesn't matter much. Any suggestions? Thanks! :)

there are a lot of nice wrasses to choose from. I don't think a jawfish or smaller blenny would be the best choice with that crew. what size tank?

any type of lionfish are great fish to have and have a ton of personality. they dont have too much color but is a beautiful all around fish.

I would love to get a fuzzy dwarf lion but I'm afraid it might get picked on by the trigger. Plus I'm afraid it might try to swallow the puffer since the puffer is only 2.5", depending on how big the lion is of course, and knowing that lions have large mouths.

An adult lionfish MIGHT swallow a 2.5" puffer. Maybe. As you say though, the trigger, and puffer also, would most likely munch on the lions fins.

There are lots of wrasses that would add a lot to the tank. They are very active and colorful. Lunar, Bird, Dragon....

I think a Harlequin Tusk would be good for your my tank but buy a small one to make shore it doesn't eat your puffer or clown.

I'm spamming you!

I will second the Harly...Beautiful & well behaved for a Wrasse

I agree on getting a wrasse, one of the not super aggressive ones would be good.

If you want a white/yellow/black fish, I have a Checkerboard or Marble wrasse, great fish.

I have kept puffers with lionfish for many years and have yet to have one nip the lions fins. How many of you have actually had this happen?

Also, a Harlequin Tusk could never eat a 2.5" puffer :D Not going to happen.
