I'm tearing down my 29 tall rimless nano and upgrading to a 60 gallon pre-drilled deep blue cube.
Equipment I have currently:
29 tall fluval rimless aquarium
2 Kessil A160WE programmable lights
1 Reef Octopus BH90 Skimmer
1 Vortech MP10 powerhead
Rougly 30lbs of live rock
1 peppermint shrimp
MANY corals (LPS, SPS, softies)
I'm looking to set-up a 60 gallon deep blue reef ready tank. My current tank is open, the lights are hanging on Goosenecks. For the 60 cube, I'm planning on enclosing them in a canopy and hanging them from chains. Looking to produce something that looks very "Ikeaish". The girlfriend was ****ed when we lost a clown to the open top rimless. I'm not sure whether to buy a rimmed 60 cube or a rimless cube; either tank is going to have a canopy dropped onto it though. Thinking the rimmed but remember I want the stand/canopy to be WHITE. Looking to produce something ultra modern here. Thinking of selling the two a160s for 1 single a360.
Also planning on selling the BH90 and upgrading to a bubble magus curve 5 to use down in the sump. For return pump looking at the Eheim 1250. Thinking of using this SUMP plan: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2280952
Anyone have any thoughts or insight on what I'm looking to do?
