Hoping to get some help from the guru. I was very careful to QT all fish in my new system and all was well until recently. Never saw any signs of disease in QT but they all still got the full treatments prior to being added. The final group of fish were added which were a hybrid tang, whitetail Bristletooth tang and a purple tang. Within 3 days of going into the display it was evident that somehow ich got in the display. The hybrid was the first to show signs but it soon spread. I hesitated to do anything since everyone seemed to be dealing with it but it continued to get worse. So I have pulled the fish and in an effort to get some relief quick I dosed cupramine. I have a copper test kit and it shows I am above the recommended dose but still in the safe range but I'm not seeing any results. The fish are still covered but still eating well. So what should I do?

If it is ich, tank transfer method is the best way rid ich, but since you have many fish to treat, hypo-salinity will be the best way. I personally don't like Copper and it can be dangerous for the fish, if not careful.
Tank transfer method is incredibly effective. You would notice dramatic improvement with the first and second transfer.

If I read that right he stated "he put in his final group of fish", meaning he has quite bit of fish and may not do TTM, wouldn't hypo be the next best option?
Update. I still have a few fish in the display tank but I have seen a big improvement on the fish i removed and placed in QT. I set up another QT because I have to many fish for the one I already have. The remaining fish that are in the display will be moved once it has cycled and then I will just have my corals to watch in the display for 3 months. TTM is not going to be an option unless I get about 8, 20 gallon tanks so I've started lowering salinity in the existing QT and the second will follow once I can safely do so. Not sure how this all happened but at least I am prepared with my QT setup so I guess that's good. I've said it a million times, QT is the only way to guarantee success in this hobby.

If you do hyposalinity it is best to start with sterilized tanks at 1.009 and add the sick fish to that. This way there are no preexisting cysts in the tank that may reinfect the fish later.
After 7 days all parasites should have come off the fish. At that point I would do a tank transfer or at least clean and sterilize the tank and equipment. After that you do another week at hyposalinity. Before ramping the salinity up again I would do another transfer or tank sterilization.
