I wanna prepare f/2 media for my research and still didn't understand how can i preparing the right media , can anyone explain step by step ???
Check out micro algae grow (modified guillard solution) from Florida aqua farms. 10 drops per L = f/2 strength. You can order the liquid or if you want bulk, they offer powder. I've grown a few different kinds of phyto, and some dinoflagellates with it too. Unless you're going for something weird, that should work.
I've seen recipes for the guillard f/2, and you'd spend more to order all the separate ingredients than just getting the stuff made up already.
