Help Me!

Alright I just got a shipment in yesterday. I had ordered a yellow fiji Leather and for some reason there is tissue coming off of it. When it came in the rock that is was on was broken so i went ahead and cut it into two peices neither peice seems to be doing well, i have tried leaving it up top and down towards the bottom. I have 2x65 watt PC. My bulbs are only 3 months old so its not my lighting is it? There is also plenty of flow in my tank. My specs are..

am-.5 or lower
Nitrate-20
Nitrite-0
PH-8.2
Alk unknown
Cal 460

I also have plenty of flow. I figure the .5 is because In the past 2 days I have added a new fish and around 12 new frags and what not. Last night I dripped about a cup of Ms wages into my tank.. Nothing else seems to have a problem. Fish are happy and all my corals are out, except for the other new one which is a torch. What should I do? If You dont think its going to make it in my tank then I want to trade it or get rid of it before it dies and my 40 bucks is wasted.

Hi Pillz, they will shed there outer layer of tissue often, that is what it is doing, also, I have found that leathers take sometimes weeks to adjust to there new tank.
Just keep your water quality good and don't move it around.
I would put it on the bottom of the tank out of the bright light until it decides to make an appearance.
It can rest also in not such bright light.
If you can, post a picture of it for us.
I think it will be just fine, leathers are tough.
