Help! Micro-Bubbles!

Hello everyone,
I have a problem, my 50 gallon reef has little tiny bubbles floating all around the tank, they are very small, probrably about the size of one of these periods. I am pretty sure the bubbles are coming from the sump but not sure. Has anyone encountered this problem in the past?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i had the same problem with my oceanic 38rr.just put a filter sock on your return line from overflow to sump.here is a link to one.

Did it always do it or did it just start?
Can you see bubbles entering the intake for the pump in the sump?
Do you have a fitting or something to tighten on the intake area?

I use silicone on all my threaded fittings... no more airbubbles.
