my aquapod was running for a good year and upgrade to 40 gallon breeder its been two months since then.every thing else mad it expept my orange monti.its starting peel the color away like when ya get sun burn and your skin peels and its starting to show white where the color was at.my levels are in check all my sps corals are doing good just not the mmonti.i did change my lighting from 150 hqi sunpod to the 6 light nova extreme t5.i have a tunze nanostream at the end of the tank blowing in it directions but the rock its on is in the middle of the tank.if ya look at the coral the center is still orange but there is a perfect ring around it that is white.its so sad i had it when it was no more than a dime big and now its 3 inch around.

I had a similar thing happen with my monti. The color turned to white around the edges then grew more and more. Previously it had been doing fine. I was also having an algae problem at the time and the algae was taking over the the white parts. I ended up fragging it and it survived. The only thing I could find that was off was my alkalinity, it was too low. Other than the alkalinity there was nothing else I could find wrong. Montis are pretty hardy but sensitive to light changes, especially increases in amount. What is your total Wattage now?

Thats a big jump. I would put the monti on the bottom for a bit and see what happens. You should see some changes in a couple of weeks.
