Help , my bta sustained an traumatic tear today!

Was trying to get him off his rock using credit card. Later used my fingernail, but slipped and caused tear. He has been in this 20 gallon tank since last August doing pretty well. Sorry, no pics - said my file size too large? John
 
Finally was able to get a picture of my bta.

Here is an photo of my bta tonite. Found he has some whitish looking scar tissue. His tentacle extension is pretty good, but not sticky. Won't. Try to feed for a couple more weeks.

I think he's trying to escape from you! :)
Why are you touching him, moving him and feeding him? My anemones have done fine, for years, without my "˜help'!

If he's moving around, he might not like the flow or the light in that spot.
 
Since he is injured, his only means to obtain energy is thru photosynthesis.
This is the rational behind getting him back into the light. By the way, just fed him a small mysis last nite. He seems to have taken it.
