i bought a BTA today, on the way home the plastic carrier bag gave way & my BTA hit the floor like a water bomb, it landed with its foot in the air head first. i scooped it up ran home with it, stuck it in my tank. there has been no damage to the foot, or the tips but i can see its mouth & looks to be open, the tips are inflated & my maroon found it as soon as i put it in my tank, the hole isn't large & i'm not sure if it will heal or die, or if there's not much damage or any it might not be damaged, the hole is about half the size of your little finger nail & nem is about the size of a tennis ball inflated deep purple coulor with green tips it looks white around the rim i can't take pic as camera is crap...

here's a couple of pics first pic is close up of mouth

It doesnt look too bad to me from those pics... If you see something wrong I would get those clowns out of it until it can heal properly.

that was quick cheers, i put it in my quarantine tank so it can't do any harm as its empty, apart from that maroon clown. i'm no expert but thought as long as the foot has no damage, i might get lucky & it might survive cheers jack..

It actually looks pretty good. If you start seeing problems, definitely remove the clown(s), or move the anemone.

A small tear on a BTA should heal (even if it were on the foot). Good water conditions and solitude from clownfish will likely insure a full recovery.
