To all wrasse lovers out there at Reef Central my wrasses need your help!
I've had my 220 (currently) FOWLR tank for 10 months now. I've added several wrasses to the tank recently: Pylei, Exquisite, Mystery, and Solarensis. My Pylei started swimming strangely around 7 days ago, where he looked like he would swim with his head up, tail-end down for several days and currently the poor thing is laying on his back or side on the bottom of the tank. Interesting things to note is that beside him swimming that way or laying down, he shows no change in coloration, his eyes are very alert, and he is interested in feeding. Today, I see my Exquisite starting to do the same. I've searched RC and noted many wrasses with this affliction but NO ONE has been able to suggest any treatment. I noted one member recommending a fresh water dip, another mentioned Maracyn-Two but the the thread ended. Someone out there must have some experience with this.
I've attached a picture after I moved him into my coral tank.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Thank YOU!
