HELP! my clams spout is now clear

hello i got home from a road trip just now & saw my clams spout has no color to it at all. It is now clear & before it was full of color.
Should i move it away from the other three to another tank. What should i do other than the clear spout it looks fine to me. My better 1/2 says he thinks its not open as much, i cant tell. What can it be and what should i do.

Had one clam that started to fade and had to move up torwards the lights. It has since gained all the mantle color back and is actively growing.

I moved it back up toward the top of the tank.I currently have three 140w VHO bulbs & two 250w M/H bulbs on the tank.I feed all my clams regularly.Before I had him were I have him now in the tank.Thanks for your reply.

This is a picture of the clam that I was worried about. Nothing has changed and he looks just the same.

id post that picture over at www.clamsdirect.com and see what barry has to say about it. its hard to say but it looks like it could have some bleaching on the mantle.
