Hello all,
So I just added a pair of clowns to my tank about five days ago. I have watched them at the LFS for a while and they seemed to be healthy so I picked them up. I know I should have a QT tank, but I simply don't have the money for it. Both of the clowns ,one black snowflake and one orange snowflake, seem to be doing very well. Both are eating brine shrimp and Prime reef flakes, both are very active and have taken to their new surroundings quite well. About two days ago I noticed a large white bump on the bottom lip of my orange snowflake. It looks like a big whitehead, as it protrudes out from the bottom lip. The rest of the skin seems to be just fine. I have seen ich, and this does not appear to be it, and the other members of the tank are healthy and happy. Is this something to be worried about, as the clown doesn't seem to be bothered by it in any way. I know the pictures aren't the greatest but any help on the matter would be great. Thank you in advance!
