I bought a small maroon clown yesterday and put him straight into my QT. This is the first fish to ever use my QT and today he doesn't look good. His right fin barely moves and he looks like he's shedding (what looks like) tissue all over his body (especially the right fin). The only thing I can think of is that I had too much current in the tank. My QT is a 2.5gallon minibow and I'm running a HOB filter rated for 10gallons. Could this be the cause? I kind of blocked the intake tube a little bit, so there isn't as much current now. My question is that will his fin come back to normal? Will he make it? Help please I don't know what to do from this point. I didn't want to buy a fish anymore because I just wanted to buy more corals, but this one was so pretty I couldn't pass it. I really don't want this guy to pass.
