HELP...My RBTA decided it likes the back of my rock.

I just bought a gprgeous RBTA on Friday and it is doing really well. The only problem is that it decided it likes the back of my rockwork. I really was hoping it would stay on the front of the rock near the other RBTA, but it went to the backside where you can't really see it.

I know I can not physically move it, but does anyone have a suggestion for how I can make him move on his own? I have a powerhead pointed at the foot and he seems to not mind.

Any other ideas?

BTAS LOVE PLACE WHERE THERE ARE CREVICES THE FOOT NEEDS A DARK AREA TO ANCOR FROM WHERE IT WILL EXTEND TOWARDS THE LIGHT SO CREATING SUCH AREA WOULD HELP YOUR PROBLEM

The problem is, he found a spot just likethat on the back of a rock. I am thinking of giving him a few more days with the powerhead then turning the rock around to see if he stays. Thanks for the info.

my GBTA is doing the same thing, i was thinking of placing a rock over top of him ( not on him ) to block the light and encourage him to move back out front. i'm gradually learning that it is impossible to impose your will on marine life. i placed both my clam and my GBTA where i thought they would look the best and they both moved almost immediately. oh well as long as they are happy

oh yeah and take a look at Karen's rose anemones

she has a wicked website about anemones and their care.

That is a great idea. I will try that too before I move my rocks. I agree as long as they are happy I am happy, but it stinks to spend the money and not be able to enjoy their beauty.

I remember when I first bought mine, It moved in the back of the rock work and I thought it was a goner, funny thing is about a week later I had three all move up in front. Just a thought you might want to leave it for a bit and just see what happens
