Help My smallest Anemone looks like its dying!

I have had my tank since July 5, 2009. About a month ago, I got an Anemone, within about a week it cloned and then I had 3. One is almost as big as the original, the second slightly smaller, but the third was the "runt of the litter."

The two bigger ones are in places that are easy for me to feed mysis shrimp and are thriving. The runt put himself in the very back of the tank behind my live rock and under my powerhead, so feeding him is next to impossible.

My question is do I remove him from the tank or let nature take its course?

Any help here would be amazing, I have posted on a couple of other places and no one has responded. I feel so bad for the little guy. :sad2:

Thanks,

Comokitty

If he is very small then his death wouldn't cause too much of a problem for your tank, just siphon out his corpse if he tries to melt. If you can't reach him then there's not much you can do (except maybe move the rockwork?). If you can get him out somehow try relocating him to a more feed-friendly area.

Thanks dragonland08 and Sugar Magnolia! I will see if I can get him to move. I really appreciate the advice!

If is able to get light where it is at I would just leave it alone. With certain anemones in the tank you have to be really careful with powerheads possibly sucking them up. Place the powerheads high and/or cover with foam.

You really rushed into adding an anemone into a new tank. What type of anemone is it?

you should not have put an anemone in that young of a tank. it split because of stress. what kind of lighting do you have?

I have a Oceanic BioCube 29gal. It came with one 16" Coralife 10,000k 36 watt Compact Fluorescent and one 16" Coralife True Actinic 03 Blue 36 watt Compact Fluorescent. I believe the Anemone is a Rose Colored Bulb Tip. As far as stress, doesn't everything you put in your tank go thru stress? My chemistry is checked at least once a week and has been in good ranges consistently for the past 6-8 weeks, at least 2 of those or more since I put in the BTA, and clown. I have been feeding them since I have owned the one that cloned, consistently. The little one is just in a place that I can't reach. I realize I am a novice but my tank has been pretty balanced and I care for it regularly, so why do you say that I rushed? What is the appropriate time frame? What are the rules?
