Yes but make sure it's isopropyl, usually 70 or 91%. The rest is water. Just don't buy denatured alcohol which is ethanol with another solvent added.

Because RC gives good quick advice, and by consensus one can find the best answer. I would never ask a LFS what to do.
After several trys of trying to get on esuweb.com's product's forums, I happened to be successful when I switched to my new email program, google mail. Their product forums gave me enough info to determine that the CSS65 wouldn't fit into my sump. The hole(s) go near where the skimmer sits if I decide on that skimmer (a css65). I'll get the skimmer and see how everything will fit with the holes and all.
