Help!, need clam advice fast!

I bought a T. Squamosa today and put it in the tank, a Coris Gaimard wrasse decided to go awol and peck on the clam mantle. Heres my question..I have another 20gal tank that is finished cycling, been 1 month...i want to know if it would be sufficiently cycled to put the clam in for the time being. Just now i changed out about 10 gal of the new tank water and replaced it with my old tank water to add extra bacteria etc, i also added a few capfuls of phytoplankton to the new tank...what do i do!!

oh and another thing to note...the new 20gal has plentiful of light...it has a 250watt halide thats over it

I wouldnt put a clam in a tank that new.....i would try to give it to someone who could take care of it or back to the store because it sounds like your tank isnt suitable for the clam...unless you remove the wrasse......

Move the fish, not the clam. Preferably don't even return the clam, as it doesn't need more stress.

well im gonna try to buy a "fish trap" tommorow from the LFS....i hope this trap will work as id hate to dissassemble 200pnds of rock and coral from my main tank
