I finished the electrical upgrades in the basement for the 220 system and am planning the move for the 29th and 30th. I also moved/sold the 65 gallon setup last weekend and plan the same for the 120 as soon as the 220 is up and running.

I am going to partially fill the 210 I have for a temporary holding tank for the rock and livestock. I plan on moving the rock and livestock on the 29th (sat) along with some of the support stuff.

Then go back on the 30th (sun) to get the tank, stand, hood and anything else i miss on saturday.

Obviously this is a lot of work and I am pretty sure it will not all fit in the land cruiser. Anyone who can and is willing to help please post and let me know. I should be able to get my hands on one small pick up. also any totes, and buckets may come in handy for moving all the livestock

I will be providing food, beer, refreshments at my place and the pool is still pretty warm. I hope to get enough volunteers to make things go pretty quickly.

I will be getting the system from steves house in Vinton and moving it to my house in goode.

Jorge,

I should be able to help out. I will be getting back in town on the 27th so I should be home that weekend.

I have the truck, not sure if I can source a trailer or not, but happy to tow one if you want to do a cheap UHaul rental.

thanks landen, I might be able to borrow one, if not u-haul is an option. I think it would be a lot easier than getting it on a truck. A trailer with ramps would be a lot better.

We did the 300 in a 12' low deck Uhaul trailer. It was like $35 out the door...

I also have a cart designed to move tanks that is on loan to me at the house right now. Nice heavy duty wheels, etc. We could put the tank on the cart, roll it out the door and right on the trailer.

another set of hands would be great Rodger, by the way I forgot to mention for those who help out will get put on the list for free frags as the become available and I have some pretty nice corals starting to grow out in the 90

I will post more details later in the week about schedule but am currently thinking about starting around 10 am at Steves in Vinton on both days. I have a couple friends from work who may help out as well and will try to spread the help out between both days.

Jorge,
I can definately help unloading at your house, let me know if you need more help on the trip to vinton.

Hal

OK I have a pickup and trailer lined up for the weekend.

I plan on leaving my place at 9:00 AM both days getting to steve's around 10:00 and hopefully leaving his place around noon and getting back to my place around 1:00. I am pretty sure I have enough buckets and totes to handle it all

Steve said he would help out at least at his house.

I have a helper for saturday at both ends and that is all the help I will probably need for saturday, but if anyone else wants to join in that would be great.

Sunday I have a helper when I get back to my place but this is the day I will need help moving the tank, stand, hood and whatever else I don't get on saturday.

Hopefully Landen will be able to make it with his tank moving dolly, and anyone else who can make it would be a big help.

if anyone needs addresses and wouldn't mind helping shoot me a pm

No problem for Sunday. The tank moving dolly is 8' long so we will need a trailer to accommodate. Best bet would be to load up from here and jump on 460, or I will need someone to help me throw it in the back of the truck. Will bring extra straps, etc. with me as well...

Forgot to mention, I have an extra 100g Rubbermaid stock tank that you are more than welcome to borrow if you want to grab it before Saturday. It is empty in the fish room if you need it.

Landen send me your address and we can leave from your house I will be there around 9:00 AM on sunday if that is Ok. May need you to drive your truck as well to fit everything.

wont be needing the rubbermaid, I allready have the 210 partially full and have enough buckets and totes

wanted to formally thank those who helped on saturday and sunday with the tank move. I could not have done it without the help I got from Rodger, Chris, Steve and Landen.

things went pretty well I thought with the exception of dumping a few gallons of water on Steve's floor. Sorry about that one we should have checked the other side of the wall before pulling the plug.

I have been working on getting the system up and running but have taken Landen's advice and slowed down a little to do things the way I want them. Painted the back of the tank blue and decided to redo most of the plumbing from scratch so I will have nobody to blame but myself if it doesn't work or fills my basement with water.

any way the fuge has been up and running but had to run out and get a different pump do to elevation difference and hope to get the water and rock in the tank on Friday if I don't have to work another of my off Fridays.

I will post some pictures when it is full and thanks again guys.
