I have an Oceanic 215 reef and purchased 2 *6100's and a multicontroller 7094.
The first challenge I faced was placement. I wanted to place them opposite each other, (i.e. far left, far right) but the holding device and extention extend too far out for me to be able to lower the canopy. I really do not want to 'notch' the canopy.
I chose to locate them on the far left and right overflows, which seems OK, but the angle out at about 45 degrees, I.e. the streams likely meet in the middle front of the tank.
(I hope this is all not too confusing).
My question is:
1) is the placement 'OK'?
2) how in the heck should I 'best' set up the multicontroller? (I have it set now as per page 17 of the manual)
3) How does one verify if the pumps are indeed pulsing?
4) Is there any more literature out there besides the 'instructions for use' that come with the multicontroller?
Thanks in advance.
