Help! New Additions

Hi all, I just got a few new additions to my tank, but have a few quesetions.

I have a hawaiian feather duster... will it attach itself on its own? I have it just sitting on a rock right now?

I got a flame scallop... does it attach itself? should I place it on a rock or in the sand?

Any help is much appreciated... thanks!

Feather duster will "attach" itself in due time. It will either begin to bury its tail if you could call it that in the sand or will stick to any rocks near it. Flame scallop will swim around the tank untill it finds a place it like. Hope you are planning to be feeding you tank every day as those are both filter feeders.

yes, i already feed flakes everyday, so it is not much more work to feed these new additions... should the feather duster and scallop both be fed once a day or twice a day? I am planning on trying kent marine phytoplex for the feather duster and marine snow for the scallop?

the feather dusters seem to be just sitting limp with their radioles half open, is this normal for a new addition?
