Hi, first off, can someone help I'd this little guy for me. Is it war coral?!?
Second, should I leave this guy on the sand bed? Or move him on a rock? I've had him for a few weeks and I noticed that it's starting to encrust the plug. Thanks in advance for all the help.

OK, I originally had it on a rock, do you know what happens if I left it on the sand bed?

it will jus grow slower, if you do move it, move it up slow, i moved mine up 5 inches once, and it lost most of the green... they are pretty sensitive to quick changes, and yes thats a war.
