Dkuhlmann New member Dec 27, 2015 #2 Looks like it could be an encrusting sponge. I've got a large one on some LR, it's been in my tank a long time and doing well LOL. As long as it's not agitating your coral I wouldn't worry about it. Sponges are filter feeders and generally good for your system.
