OK my tang has been doing fine in my tang for 2 months.. eating well and everything. Today i noticed a big light brown blotch/streak on one side. He seems to be swimming around faster in my tank and breathing faster. So i think its an infection. I couldnt post this in the locked thread up there but all i need is a big water change right? DID i diagnose right? here is the best pic i could do.

yeah i know it wouldnt. but can anyone else confirm that i did the right diagnosis? Will my clowns and chromis be affected by what the tang has as well? or is it only common on tangs>?

the 2 things i know of that will cause red streaks on tangs are copper poisoning and oxygen deprevation...if your tang is getting harrassed and needs to swim all over that 75 gallon, he might be oxygen deprived.

tang seems to be breathing fine..... i did a 15 gallon water change... the blotches are basically a tan looking color... hopefully it wil go away
