HELP...please

All of the sudden my skimmer is producing micro bubbles(again). Since my last post i quit using the slime algea control. I have done 2 water changes since then and tonight i gave it a good rinse with fresh water. When i plugged it in mico bubbles??? They are so bad it clouds my tank. Any suggestions? I have not used it in over a week and really need to get back to skimming????

I have the same problem. My fish man said to get a larger pump on it. What kind of pump do you have on it?

Its a Coralife 33002 (125G) i know it is a P.O.S. but it has been working fine and skimming great until I used the red slime algea control. I have it soaking in vinegar right now so i will see what that does. Any other suggestions?

Soaking in vinegar and freshwater may cause it to have breakin period. Give it some time, live with the bubbles for a week if you need to. I think 'friedrice' on here used slime control not long ago and couldn't run his skimmer for a couple of weeks, even after big waterchanges, due to excess foaming.

^+1. I don't really know anything about the Coralife, but from what I've read they're pretty tuff to get dialed in just right anyway.
