Hi all, having problems[emoji51]so I've abit of a panic on, could do with some help please peeps? I've been running my 275ltr cube for several months now the soft corals, fish and other little buddies I transferred from previous smaller tank, they were all doing very well till I brought what I was told/ labelled a gold rim tang for the first 9 days no issues at all she ate like crazy from day 1 all appeared good till I came home from work to find her covered in what looking like cracked salt grindings to find out she had oodinium so treated with esha oodinex then all seemed well again till 2 days later when she had gone down with it again as well as other tank mates( pair of clowns and lemon tang) I'm treating a second time round. I've since found out this fish could a powder brown not a gold rim, had I have known I may not of bought this fish after a quick goggle search as I read gold rim were reasonably hardy compared to powder Browns any advice on what to do if this course doesn't do the trick and how to help settle her down, she's lovely I want to help her?

You will need to put all fish in a qt, treat for ich, and leave the tank fish less for 72 days to get rid of ich. Otherwise she will just
Continue to get reinfected.

From the description it's not Amyloodinium but rather Cryptocaryon.

Also, a 275 liter is too small for an Acanthurus japonicus or Acanthurus nigricans.
