I need some help with my pulsing xenia, i transfered it from my fish only tank that i bought 4 months ago and put it into my reef tank, it was doing great in the fowlr tank that had less than perfect conditions (high nitrates) and it did great in my reef tank up until the past week. it was getting smaller and smaller and this morning it is tiny and ever so slightly pulsing. my reef tank has about 2-5 ppm nitrates, does pulsing xenia like high nitrates? if so should i put it back into the fowlr tank? its not like its a huge loss if it does die, its not my favorite coral but then again its kinda sad to have any coral die. what should i do or try? suggestions wanted please

it should be complely fine in there, but some tanks for some reason cant sustain xenia.. some people say to dose iodine.

I would put it back in the fowlr I lost my xenia when i started adding sps to the tank and cleaned the tank more often

What flow do you have? I have seen shrinking xenias in low flow, but after putting them in higher flow things started to getting better.

i cant keep it alive in my tank, i have tried three different varieties, all have shriveled and died...my water is anything but pristine...
