ok so I get home and my mushrooms look like poop. so I do some testing and my nitrates are high about .50ppm. So any know what could have caused this? I had a dieing organ pipe that I took out and a few really shruken shrooms. Besides that everything is looking ok. I have also had alot of snails some up missing. I have an 80 gal. SO waht do you people think change like 15 gallons tomarrow and 15 more in a few days of let it ride out?

Definetly do a water change ASAP. A 20% water change should bring you down to .40. then another 20% will take it to .32 then .24 and so on. Blow of your rocks and substrate with every change and try to remove as much detrius as possible. Check your parameters between each change.
