help RBTA Dying!

I have a Rose BTA for about a year now and very healthy until last night it all of a sudden moved out from it place and looks flattened and dying! i picked it up and checked it base and found some small holes, looks like something is biting it, one of the hole is about 1cm wide!

Is something eating my anemone? I dont have lot of fish and all are reef safe.

Please help!

Tough to tell without pics.

Once they start decomposing the base will tear and split easily. so it might be part of the process of it dying and not the cause of death.
