So I got a 60g acrylic tank and there are parallel lines about 1/8 deep around the top seams and I'm paranoid about it breaking apart. I want to add another brace to the center thinking it will reinfor the tank. I think the tank is 3/8 thick or 1/4 but I want to brace it with a 1/2 piece. Is there a way to take these lines go away by resealing or am I being paranoid?
