Ha ha, autocorrect. Three days lights out, and no light from windows hitting your tank is the natural ticket you are looking for. Be careful with red slime killer...that's not all it kills. Keep your skimmer going, remove the junk you can get to, and repeat the three days lights out monthly until it gives up.
