Help revive a reef tank (mine)

Anyone looking to learn about reefing by volunteering to care for my neglected 400 gal reef tanks? My very busy schedule prohibits most of my time to care for the reef.

I'm in the office from 3 to 7pm tomorrow.

We'll need to do testing, throw out dead coral, salvage those that are alive ( via fragging)
A good size water change (I already have it brewing), etc

Running in and out of the office the tank always seems to be dark. Checking the temps I see its constantly in the low 80's. Yesterday it was 83, I'm cranking to Central AC until I noticed the Apex controller says 83, but the AquaController say 77!

The Apex controls the lights if the temps are too high. The ACIII controls some other functions of my entire system.

I hope all i have to do is calibrate the probe, otherwise I'll need to buy a new one.

And the saga continues.....

Yes try to calibrate the probe frist and see if that helps hope it does

Harry I feel your pain,,, once cold weather comes around I hope there will be time....
I just cant get how life throws curves balls all the time
I will not let this busy life get between me and this hobby

Thanks guys. ZoaYork came by yesterday, and we tested everything. Levels are back to semi normal low Ca (400) alk is at 8.3. Learned about making ca n alk, calculating dose adjustments. Water change is ready for today.

Water change done, probe recalibrated, skimmers cleaned.

Giving up on esv, used last bit of it with this batch. Going back to reef crystals and weekly water changes.

In the near future I need to go into the task and take out all the dead coral
