My wrasse is hanging out in my fuge, can't keep his belly down. Could this be a bacterial infection? I have Furan-2, will this help?

That's what I thought.. My Rhomboid isn't quite as bad as your Labouti in the video but I'm afraid he's headed that way.

My Rhomboid is doing the same thing, he's been fine for a week. I came home to find my fairy wrasse swimming wierd, it is swimming vertically & upside down. He is still swimming, but he's all over the place. He is still eating & he seems fine physically. I am going to do awater change tomorrow & also do a test to get the water params. All of my other fish seem fine. I just turned of all the lights to have all the fish go to bed & make sure no other fish messes w it until I can do the change of water. Is there anything else I can do today, please help.
Sorry to thread jack, but I figure we have the same prob, w the same expensive fish!!
Thanks in advanced

Bernie

Do either of you know where they came from? Wholesaler i mean? We got one in a week ago where i work that has developed the exact same problem and this is the third one i have heard of in the last couple weeks do this. I'm just curious how they were collected, seems kinda weird that we are all having the same problem at the same time.

seems to be about of this lately, at work we've had a punctatus, 2 purple velvets, a lineatus, and a solarensis that all got the exact same thing. tried several things, but nothing worked. on the last purple velvet I actually pinned him and pulled several cc's of air from his swim bladder so he could stay down but he was back floating the next day.

I have treated lots of fish with the same problem simply by dipping in freshwater for 30 minutes. It doesn't always work but sometimes it does.
