Help! - Royal Gramma Not Eating Now Laying On Bottom w/ White Stringy Poop

In QT with a pajama cardinal (seems healthy).

Got him 17 Days ago. 5 days ago he jumped out of the tanked when i spooked him when doing some maintenance. he was out of the tank for like 45 seconds, he felll about 5 feet. it was awful, i did all that i could to save him.

he was bad for about 2 hours and then was back to normal, until about 3 days later (2 days ago). he stopped eating. today i found him laying on the bottom of the tank breathing heavy and when he finally moved i saw white stringly poop hanging from him.

def a parasite? treat with prazi? how long do i treat for?

problem is im going away in 7 days for 7 days. i was planning on taking the healthy fish out of QT in 4 days before my trip. but i guess that aint happening.

Have you prophylactically treated with anything? IME Prazi does not clear internal parasites but others say they have had good results. Do you have any metro on hand?

I didnt want to sit on my hands as he was clearly suffering, so i treat with prazi this morning. My two clowns had similar symptons and it was parasites and prazi worked, so i figured it was the same.

but I figured if someone more experienced looked at the video maybe they had a different diagnosis.

he is still just laying on the bottom corner, you can barely tell he is alive its awful.
