Hello all
I come home from work today to find on of my acans had fallen down on to the side of one of my scolymia's and a badly stung the side:mad: :(
There seems to be a lot of melted flesh and some of the skeleton is showing:(
Has anyone had this problem and it's recovered or is it game over for the scolymia:confused:
Any help or advice will be great
Thankyou
Ollie;)

Ollie, I am sorry for your experience. I have had numerous sps burned by my bubble coral....actually I even got burned by it! Some surrvived others well....trash can...I would just put them in a low lit area with little flow to help them with the stress and rebuild tissue. If algea starts growing on them or they start to smell like rotting crap remove them for they will increase you nirtrates.

best of luck,

Mike

I agree with everything that was just said...except.... I think it shoud be in a med-high flow area to help with the removing the slime and to keep it clean as well as bring the coral needed nutrients....
